Kehkashan Basu

Kehkashan Basu is an incredible 22-year-old climate change activist who's making waves all around the world. At just 8 years of age, she began planting trees and inspiring her peers to recycle. This led Kehkashan found Green Hope Foundation in 2012 - a non-profit organization devoted to educating people on UN’s Sustainable Development Goals across 26 countries! Her work has been so awe striking that it won her international acclaim including International Children’s Peace Prize in 2020.
Xiuhtezcatl Martinez

Xiuhtezcatl Martinez is a remarkable 22-year-old environmentalist from Colorado, making an inspiring splash in the fight for climate justice. As a former youth director at Earth Guardians – an organisation founded by his mother in 1992 - he's campaigned for environmental justice since age six to protect future generations from apathy and inaction on climate change. He's even gone so far as suing President Trump over it! His powerful voice has echoed around stages like TED talks and the United Nations advocating that we must all come together to make a difference before it’s too late
Felix Finkbeiner
At just 9-years old, Felix Finkbeiner knew what he wanted to do with his life — make it greener. Now at a ripe age of 25, the German environmental activist has accomplished more than most could dream possible. His organisation Plant-for-the-Planet is an international movement devoted to reforestation and combatting global warming worldwide in countries such as Mexico, Haiti, Brazil and Ethiopia!
Greta Thunberg

Greta Thunberg has taken the fight against climate change by storm. She became aware of human induced climate change when she was just 8 and set out to reduce her personal carbon footprint with lifestyle changes, like going vegan and avoiding air travel. But Greta didn't stop there - taking on an extraordinary mission to inspire others into action! Her one person protest outside Swedish Parliament quickly gained traction amongst peers around the world as they rallied behind Fridays for Future - which has become a powerful youth movement that mobilizes people everywhere in demanding answers from governments about our changing environment.
Autumn Peltier

Autumn Peltier, born in 2004, is an Indigenous environmentalist from Canada. Peltier is famous for her water advocacy where she believes that everyone deserves access to clean water. Peltier started to work on environmental justice at the age of 8 after she visited a neighbouring indigenous community and discovered that they weren’t able to drink tap water due to pollution. Since then she has addressed the world leaders at the United Nations Secretary-General’s Climate Action Summit, as well as at the United Nations General Assembly. Peltier was also nominated for the International Children’s Peace Prize three times.
Jerome Foster II

Jerome Foster II's journey from environmental activist to White House Climate Advisor is quite remarkable! At just twenty years old, Jerome was one of the driving forces behind the Clean Energy DC Act, one of the most comprehensive and impactful clean energy national actions to date aiming to halve District’s greenhouse gas emissions by 2032. He also took a leading role in organising much-needed climate strikes across America, standing alongside peers for over eighty weeks outside prominent national landmarks like the White House and Harvard University. It's inspiring to see what this passionate young leader has already achieved - we can't wait to see where his career takes him next!
Haven Coleman
At the tender age of 15, Haven Coleman is already making waves in her fight against climate change. After learning about deforestation and its effects on our environment during fifth grade, she has taken it upon herself to become an advocate for Mother Nature. She champions the cause with eloquent speeches delivered across Colorado where she currently resides. Her advocacy also led to her becoming a Co-Founder of US Youth Climate Strike in 2019 - talk about youthful ambition!
Izzy Raj-Seppings
Izzy Raj-Seppings has sparked a movement, becoming an inspiring figure to her peers as the 15-year old Australian climate activist leading multiple protests in Sydney. She fearlessly set out on a legal mission too; joining seven other brave teens in taking their government to task for its contribution towards global warming with plans of widening coal mines. Greta Thunberg watch your back – we’ve got another powerhouse teen changing the world!
Our planet is facing a myriad of environmental challenges, but these eight courageous activists show us that age ain't nothing but a number when it comes to making an impact. From preserving natural resources to tackling climate change head on — their inspirational actions prove what can be accomplished with the right knowledge and dedication!
